This is my own house, so I was probably never going to be the easiest client. I was on site regularly, asked a lot of questions and changed things along the way. What I appreciated was that Upside Builders never made me feel like any of that was a problem.

They handled the house from the ground up, from the structure and brickwork right through to plaster and finishing. It is a kanal house with ten bedrooms, five bathrooms, two kitchens and two lawns, so there was a lot to manage. Still, the work never felt rushed. The kitchen in particular is something people notice when they visit. The ceiling, cabinetry and overall finishing came together very well, and you can see the attention that went into the details.

More than anything, I valued their honesty. If a change was going to cost more, I knew before the work was done. And if I suggested something that they felt would not work, they would tell me rather than simply agree and create a problem later.

The house was handed over complete and on time in March. I have since moved in and lived in it, and so far I haven’t had to call them back for any issues.

I would work with Upside Builders again, and I have already recommended them to people I know. For me, that says more than anything else.

Building in Sharda comes with its own challenges. Everything has to travel up the valley, the weather can change quickly, and the construction season is short. We needed someone who could understand those realities and still deliver what we had envisioned.

We asked Upside Builders to build our timber hotel, restaurant block and treehouse unit, all in solid wood. They handled the project from start to finish, including the structure, roofing, verandahs, interiors and final finishing.

The best feedback for us comes from our guests. People notice the woodwork, stop to look at the details and often start taking photographs of the rooms before they have even settled in.

It has now been four years and four Neelum winters, and the buildings are still standing strong, looking beautiful and serving our guests every season. For a place like Sharda, that says a lot about the quality of the work.

Upside Builders did not just complete the construction for us. They delivered a hotel that was finished, functional and ready for us to welcome guests.

I knew what kind of house I wanted and already had the drawing with me. I just wanted someone who could make it properly.

Upside Builders did the full work from start till finishing. Whenever I asked for any change, they explained to me first what can be done and how much it will cost.

I really like the front of the house. It came out almost same as the drawing I had in my mind. Overall I am very happy with the work and dealing with them was easy.
